The Sentry was a soldier who patrolled the citadel of Camelot. He was murdered by Morgana Pendragon.
Biography
The second night after Morgana's return, the Sentry ran into her while she was entering the castle. He asked Morgana what she was doing, and she replied that she was going for a stroll. The Sentry then saw what he believed to be blood dripping from her cloak and tried to search her for injuries, at which point Morgana stabbed him and pushed him off the battlements.
The Sentry survived the fall and his body was found the next day. Gaius informed Arthur that the knife he was stabbed with was marked with the sigil of the Blood Guard and that he feared there was a traitor in Camelot.
When Morgana learned of the Sentry's survival, she went to Gaius' chambers and poisoned the Sentry while he slept. When Gaius and Merlin returned shortly afterward, they discovered that the Sentry was dead (The Tears of Uther Pendragon).
