Spies were people who secretly collected and reported information about the activities, movements, or plans of an enemy.
History
Fyren collected information on Arthur's whereabouts for the assassin Myror, who Odin had hired to kill him (The Once and Future Queen).
Morgana acted as a spy for Morgause after she turned against Camelot. Her true allegiance was revealed after the Fall of Camelot, when she was crowned Queen (The Tears of Uther Pendragon, The Crystal Cave, The Castle of Fyrien, The Eye of the Phoenix, Queen of Hearts, The Coming of Arthur).
Cenred sent spies to track Merlin and Arthur on their quest to find the Cup of Life (The Coming of Arthur).
Agravaine began spying for Morgana after he returned to the court of Camelot. His true allegiance was later revealed during the Second Fall of Camelot (The Darkest Hour, The Wicked Day, His Father's Son, The Secret Sharer, Lancelot du Lac, The Hunter's Heart, The Sword in the Stone).
Sefa used her position as Gwen's maidservant to spy on the court for her father Ruadan, an ally of Morgana's. Her activities were eventually discovered, but Ruadan helped Sefa escape before she was executed (Arthur's Bane).
Morgana forced Gwen to spy for her after she enchanted her with the Teine Diaga (The Dark Tower, A Lesson in Vengeance, The Hollow Queen, With All My Heart).
After Gwaine rescued Eira from an attack on Fort Stowell, she began spying on the court for Mordred and Morgana. Her true allegiance was discovered after the Battle of Camlann and she was arrested and executed after Gwen tricked her into sending Morgana false information about Arthur's whereabouts (The Diamond of the Day).
